Aquanaut poem
Twilight over the North Sea at Whitby, North Yorkshire, England

Aquanaut

Water prison.

Inside the bubble still—
environed, sunken, missed.

Terra firma.

Who says it’s out of reach?
The sky is gliding by.

Chances surface.

Whatever means will do—
a raft, a wreck, a whale.
